Chemical manufacturers are responsible for the safe use of their products and for their impact on the environment and human health. The rapid pace of development of the chemical industry and related industrial sectors with the involvement of new production volumes in this process requires the control of products and the development of a unified approach to its regulation both by the regulator and the manufacturer.
The proposed article analyzes the current state of regulation of the main aspects of risk assessment and risk management during the circulation of chemical products in the Russian Federation and suggests approaches to assessing, monitoring and managing the risks of exposure to chemical products throughout its entire life cycle, taking into account the unified principles, procedures and mechanisms operating in other countries, including OECD member states.
