Various multilateral environmental agreements and the their requirements can create an environment that obstruct the export of domestic products. So there is a need to select a tool todemonstrate the environmental characteristics of domestic products and increase its competitiveness. The tool must be known and recognized abroad. An environmental product declaration may be such a tool.
