QUALITY PROBLEMS IN THE INDUSTRY

Concentration Contact Stress and the Deformation of an Elastic Finite Bodies at Power Contacts Between

Using the Winkler elastic foundation model is built so-called edge effect elastic finite bodies with cylindrical shape, their apposition to the strain on the generator. First obtained formulas for the determination of contact deformation and stress concentration factor in the marginal zone of the cylindrical bodies of finite size. The received results can be used in calculations and at tests for strength and durability of aviation and space-rocket and also engineering structures of different destination.

The Updating of Theory Calculation of the Strain-stress State in Cylindrical Chells with Variable Thickness

The closed cylindrical shells with a variable thickness, which change as a function of longitudinal axis, is consider as a threedimensional body. The state equations of such body are presented in the form of three-dimensional equations of elasticity theory. The components of strain- stress state for a shell are presented as polynomial functions of orthogonal coordinate. The degree of these functions, two orders of magnitude higher compared to the classical Kirchhoff-Love theory.
The virtual work principle is applied to obtain the two-dimensional equations and boundary conditions. At solving the boundary problem in view for closed shell the displacements are expand into trigonometric series depending on  circumferential coordinate. The finite-difference method is applies to solve differential equations with a variable coefficients. Comparison of results of calculation of the transverse normal stress obtained in this work and in another variant update theory relation to the classical theory is given.
Account of three-dimensional stress-strain state showed that the transversal normal stress, which in the classical theory of neglect, may have one order with maximum bending stress. The received results can be used in calculations and at tests for strength and durability of aviation and space-rocket and also engineering structures of different destination.
